K-12 Programs for Teachers, Educators and Administrators
Our K-12 Social Emotional Well-being programs were created in collaboration with K-12 educators, school district administrators, licensed psychologists and other medical experts to ensure our methods were appropriate for school-age students and followed mandated government standards.
- Fulfills & Aligns with Multi Tier Support System (MTSS), Component 6
- Aligns with California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) research & requirements (see CHKS module map)
- Is a Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) program that supports LCFF (Local Control Funding Formula) State Standards
- Complies with the US Department of Education's Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)

Course Descriptions
Social Emotional Well-being
This course covers the following topics:
- the importance of healthy self-esteem and how to improve it
- how to build resilience and keep my love cup full so I can be kind to myself and others
- how to reprogram Automatic Negative Thoughts
- how to talk to others, listen, communicate assertively, and build healthy lasting relationships
- how to recognize feelings and process them in a healthy way
- how to deal with anger, sadness, disappointment, disgust and jealousy effectively
- how to care for oneself emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually
- how to recognize different communication styles & toxic behaviors like triangulation, splitting, bullying, self-victimization
- how to build trust and become a stellar citizen/student/employee
- how to set healthy boundaries
- how to manage detrimental effects of social media & cyber-bullying
- how to stay motivated, realize that life is naturally difficult, and focus on solving life's problems
- how to recognize/change destructive behaviors such as bullying, eating disorders, cutting, depression, human trafficking, child pornography, and suicide.
- how to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns and destructive behavior including self-injury,
- aggression, self-victimization, suicidal and homicidal ideation.
